We are thrilled to have Dr. Kristina Modjeski on the Diamond team. She will be working the Emergency Night Shift rotation and will soon become a favorite of clients and pets alike because of her warm personality, high standard of care, and excellent communication skills.
Dr. Modjeski is a recent graduate of Washington State University and is thrilled to practice medicine at Diamond Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Modjeski grew up locally in northern Snohomish County and she and her family have been taking their pets to Diamond for over 14 years. From a young age, Dr. Modjeski knew she wanted to be a veterinarian and her first job was at the Marysville Petting Zoo in Jennings Park. She completed a B.S. in Biology at the University of Washington and received a Ph.D in Pharmacology from the University of Rochester in upstate New York. Dr. Modjeski is very interested in internal medicine, emergency medicine, and feline medicine. A lifelong cat person, her furry feline companions include Henry, a cantaloupe aficionado, Rosalind, a sweet calico, and Parker, an adorable polydactyl. Dr. Modjeski is relieved to be back in Western Washington among the evergreen trees and moss that she missed on her hiking adventures elsewhere. She hopes to continue the excellent care and compassion that Diamond is known for and is eager to work with clients to provide the best care possible for their furry companions.
