It’s also helpful for you to gather your pet’s medical records from their previous veterinarian and bring them with you on your first visit. This will help our team quickly get up to speed on your pet’s health.

New Patient Exams at Diamond Veterinary Hospital

For your pet’s first exam at Diamond Veterinary Hospital, our veterinary team will take the time to get to know you and your pet. We’ll begin with a physical exam, palpating your pet’s body from nose to tail, leaving no paw unturned. We’ll ask you questions about your pet’s health and behavior, as well as if you’ve noticed any changes to their normal habits.

In addition to the physical exam, our veterinary team will also order diagnostic tests such as bloodwork in order to get a fuller picture of their current health status. We want to construct the most complete picture of your pet’s health possible so we can ensure we make recommendations that will best benefit your pet’s health and longevity.
