Dr. Michael Longoni

A native of Tucson, Arizona, Dr. Longoni began his undergraduate education at The Colorado College in Colorado Springs. He was then accepted to Colorado State University, where he completed his DVM, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 1992. After graduating, Dr. Longoni returned to Arizona to practice, working in small animal general medicine, emergency medicine, and as a relief veterinarian in Arizona and Oregon. Dr. Longoni also served as Assistant Medical Director of the Emergency Animal Clinic in Phoenix, Arizona for 10 years. In 2010, Dr. Longoni became a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist through the Canine Rehabilitation Institute. Dr. Longoni enjoys emergency medicine and soft tissue surgery and is excited about the mix of general and emergency medicine at Diamond Veterinary Hospital.

In the spring of 2016, Dr. Longoni and his partner, Elyse, decided it was finally time to leave the heat and moved up to Everett. Both avid hikers and nature lovers, the Pacific Northwest was a natural fit. They enjoy the excellent hiking and natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest with their dogs. They are enjoying figuring out gardening in their country valley. Their four-legged family includes Calude, a lovable standard poodle; Chai, an Italian greyhound-poodle mix with seizures; Fenn, a Siamese mix; and Bisby, a flame-point Siamese.
