Dr. McCormick grew up in the San Francisco area. They have always loved animals of every kind, so veterinary medicine was a natural career choice for them. They completed their undergraduate education at Cornell University, then moved back to California to go to veterinary school at UC Davis. Dr. McCormick graduated from veterinary school in 2024 and decided to move to the Seattle area. They are very excited to be joining the Diamond team.

In their free time, Dr. McCormick enjoys hiking, birdwatching, reading, dancing, and spending time with their two wonderful cats (Persephone and Monet). They are looking forward to exploring the outdoors here in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, as well as spending time with friends and family who live in the area.
