Sonya’s passion for animals began at a young age while growing up on her family’s farm in Arlington, where she showed Jersey cattle through 4-H. She brings decades of experience working with large animals and made the transition to small animal care with Diamond in 2025—something she has been thoroughly enjoying ever since.

In her free time, Sonya loves spending time with her grandkids, caring for her ever-growing plant collection, and embracing all things outdoors.
